Our YP Story

The Northwest Arkansas Young Professional (NWAYP) Summit was established in 2016 by Dr. Todd Jenkins with the vision of bringing a world-class summit to the region to drive change and foster support for personal and professional development, as well as a sense of connection for professionals from diverse backgrounds. The inaugural summit received support from a Rotary International grant and has flourished with unwavering support from the Rogers-Lowell Chamber of Commerce, along with numerous organizations and sponsors in the region. With a foundation in volunteer leadership, our mission goes beyond age, focusing on providing insights into personal, professional, and philanthropic endeavors for young professionals in Northwest Arkansas. It's not just about age; it's a mindset. We take pride in retaining our original founding volunteers, ensuring their continued engagement. Over the years, we have had the privilege of hosting engaging speakers from various backgrounds, including non-profits, C-suites, entrepreneurs, and corporations, offering a diverse range of perspectives. From the Rogers Convention Center to the Record in downtown Bentonville and two years at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, our summit has traversed Northwest Arkansas. We are excited to announce our return to the Record in downtown Bentonville for 2024, poised to continue inspiring and empowering the next generation of leaders in our community.
